FeedForward - Barefoot & Naked

| Colleague Liselotte Hegt discussed this CD of FeedForward from brabant already in the section "do-it-yourself" in the Aardschok 3 of 2007. Meanwhile, the band, thanks to many positive reviews, obtained a real record deal, and “Barefoot & Naked" now gets an official relaease. FeedForward is basically a progressive rock band, which also embraces melodic metal. The band also takes some trips towards progressive metal, proven by the fine instrumental song "moving". Singer Biejanka has a delicious rock voice, a nice range and radiates an enormous enthusiasm. Here and there her performance is a bit shaky, but overall she stands her ground. Also her four fellow musicians know what they’re doing. Moreover, most songs, despite the necessary complexity, are fairly accessible and well put together. FeedForward is a band with a future. |
